The pin tail end is surprisingly sturdy for parting clean sections, and the teeth don't scratch my scalp at all. I've used it daily for a couple weeks and it still feels like a solid little tool.
The teeth glide through wet hair without snagging, which surprised me for the price. I use the tail end every morning to get a clean part, and it hasn't bent or dulled at all after a couple months.
The metal pin tail is sturdy enough to part wet hair without bending, which my old plastic one never managed. Teeth glide through tangles without snagging, and it still feels solid after weeks of daily use.
